PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / FEATURES
This technology features a dual-function measuring agent on any layer of product packaging especially food packaging. It is an environmentally friendly product made from water-based and natural polymers (essences) that are not only low cost but able to maintain aesthetic effects due to its resistance to water and oil in a single use.
NEEDS
Degradable fibre-based packaging vs plastic packaging.
Current fibre-based packaging do not repel both water and oil.
To date, higher price synthetic polymers are used. i.e. polyurea-polyamide and fluoropolymer.
APPROACH
Enviromentally friendly starch-based sizing agent through simple process
Can be used on any the fibre-based packaging either as internal or external sizing agent
