10% of the population in developing countries is infected with gastrointestinal parasitic worms.
NEEDS
There is a significant need for a natural and low-cost approach to anthelmintics, particularly for children.
APPROACH
To address this issue, UTM created NemaMed, a worm-soothing cream based on Leucas Zeylanica Anthelmintic with a dual action that can also be used to treat bloating.
BENEFITS
It is a natural water-based cream that acts effectively as an external medication to eradicate worms, is free of steroids and chemicals, and is suitable for infants and children. It is neither hot nor sticky on the infant's skin, but it smells fragrant and pleasant to both the infant and the parent. It is the result of scientific research conducted at UTM laboratories using specific herbs and essential oils.
COMPETITORS
First in the world, NemaMed is being marketed to the global market with a proper business proposal from any collaborators who are interested.
