Aerodynamically Efficient Low Wind Speed

Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine

(IP/PT/2018/0471)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / FEATURES

This is an aerodynamically efficient low wind speed horizontal axis wind turbine. Its small and innovative blades allow the turbine to function effectively in low wind areas with a minimum of 10 -15 m / s for power generation up to 10 kW.

NEEDS

A reliable yet low cost and green electrical energy production especially in low wind speed conditions

APPROACH

Electricity produced CO2 reducing potential, fuel savings, efect on the electricity consumption

BENEFITS

Development of an optimal wind turbine blades that operate effeciently in low wind speed speed countries or within the range of available natural wind speed in Malaysia (3-6 m/s) which is up to 59% energy capturing performance

COMPETITORS

Existing wing turbine producers. Local wind turbine providers
