PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / FEATURES

A process for producing a bio-paper comprising the steps of blending a homogeneous mixture of hewed agro based fibers through conventional chemical pulping process and then compression molding the treated agro based fibers to yield the paper sheet

APPROACH

The raw material used in the development of this bio-paper is agricultural waste which is fully biodegradable, and available abundantly at low cost.

In the present invention, the polymeric composition contains a pineapple waste portion which is consumed by microorganisms and subsequently left over the synthetic polymer skeleton to be further decomposed by natural element.
